Acceptance

Acceptance.  Accept where you are, Accept who you are, Accept everything around you.  Stop resisting.  Everything is constantly changing and we must accept it all. When we resist and cause undo turbulance in our minds and bodies.

Things happen that we don't enjoy or like but there are really only two things you can do--

  •  Accept what is happening and see the positive and choose a peaceful state of mind
or
  • Fight against it, be miserable, and struggle against the universe.

You can't control your situation, you can decide how to react to it.

  1. Once we are able to "accept" we can realize 1 of 7 Yoga Axioms:
    You are exactly where you are supposed to be

    This reminds me that I don't have to ..and encourages me not to "struggle against the universe"
